After all the rumors the final result is a 16 megapixel, 10fps overhauled 1D camera with extensive video capabilities and ISOs to match Nikon’s latest. The sensor has been redesigned to support the 6 extra megapixels with more transmissive color filters, improved gapless microlenses and changes to the actual circuitry design in the sensor.
