
After all the rumors the final result is a 16 megapixel, 10fps overhauled 1D camera with extensive video capabilities and ISOs to match Nikon’s latest. The sensor has been redesigned to support the 6 extra megapixels with more transmissive color filters, improved gapless microlenses and changes to the actual circuitry design in the sensor. If this actually adds up to performance to match the D3s at ISO 102400 it will indeed be impressive. [...]
