In spite of all their talk about terminal velocity and mass of objects in free-fall, this is still one heck of an impressive tale. This rebel lived up to its name, falling a supposed 3000 feet to the ground and surviving the impact against all odds with little more than a crack. Do I believe that it was really 3000 feet? Welllll….. I’m just going to guess that the odds are highly against anything like this happening again.
The video camera it traveled with didn’t fare quite as well.
