Yesterday was the day many were waiting for. Those who had never been to the subway or who at least had never walked its length appeared in some pretty impressive numbers for this get together and we walked from the western entrance to the eastern end by Dinosaur BBQ. This weekend might be the last time I get to walk the whole length of the abandoned Rochester subway before it gets filled in. I’m definitely disappointed that they’ll be doing that but if the subway really is a structural danger to the streets above then it’s probably something that must be done. Tomorrow I’ll have to finalize the car pooling plans, figure out where we’ll be meeting and I’ll be trying to find that one last flashlight that’s playing hide or seek. [...]

It’s hard to find a bag with the right combination of features. After using a variety of bags I know the type of bag I’ll use most often is a shoulder bag. There are times I need a backpack or another bag depending on what I’m doing or if I need to bring a laptop with me, but most of the time I just want camera gear.
