Corbett’s Glen is a fairly sizeable park right in the middle of everything in Rochester that I’ve heard of throughout the years but never made it to. When Taima and I arranged to work together it seemed like the perfect chance to check this location out. I’m glad we did because it’s a beautiful slice of nature in a busy area. Mud Creek is an aptly named creek running through Mertensia Park (and right behind the car dealership I use). It’s a not-terribly-cool creek which fittingly has a lot of mud in the water and on the rocks. It doesn’t flow very fast and there are some pretty big nursery web spiders on a lot of the rocks (we knocked a rather huge one in to the water in the hopes it would go further downstream but a tadpole or something ate it).
