		<description><![CDATA[Wayyyy back at the end of March Joe, Mike and I went out to shoot some film on our medium format cameras.  The format and camera type of choice was the 6&#215;6 TLR.  I&#8217;ve always loved the square format, I&#8217;d even consider it my favorite, so shooting with the TLRs may become a more common occurrence.  Having a selection of expired film to choose from I picked some Provia 100F whose expiration date was marked for sometime in 2002.  Overall things came out pretty well although the quality of the scans provided by the local lab left a lot to be desired.  At least they weren&#8217;t covered in dust or fingerprints! 		<description><![CDATA[A bit over a week ago Joe and I went back downtown to spend some time wandering and shooting.  We met up over at the studio and went to Dinosaur for lunch before wandering the city.  It&#8217;s always interesting running in to and talking with city workers about what we&#8217;re up to.  A couple were walking by us and asked if we were visiting or if we were from the area.  Neither of us are natives but we certainly wouldn&#8217;t say we&#8217;re visitors at this point.  They thought our repeated trips to downtown Rochester to see and shoot were interesting, but to us they&#8217;re fun and sometimes we see different things.  Photography to me isn&#8217;t just about shooting, it&#8217;s about constantly observing everything around me and going out and looking for opportunities.  Some trips are more successful than others. 		<description><![CDATA[Two weeks ago I took part in a group shoot at a studio organized by my friend Joe.  Initially we expected to have too many photographers and not enough models but it wound up being the other way around, even though a couple extra photographers showed up.  For Joe&#8217;s first foray in to hosting group shoots like this it went well and was a lot of fun.  I didn&#8217;t get to work with all the models that were there but it was good networking and good to hang out with some of the other area photographers I have known for a while.  I&#8217;m already working on some plans for future shoots with some of the models but I don&#8217;t know when those will come to fruition.
