My way to find the right way on trails is to use my Seekey...a simple but working tool for us who are experiencing an uncommon color vision (for example red-green color blindness).

I was a Sr. Electrical Engineer at Skyes 1979-1983, working for Al Reithmeier. I worked on the many projects there including the Invoice product. I have many good memories of the work, the facility and the people there. Too bad it crashed and burned in the AT&T breakup. A few years ago I actually had someone contact me for detailed information about the original tape drive system. I actually had a COMM-STOR 4 at home built up from scrapped boards that I repaired. And the prototype CP/M board that was developed in an attempt to enter the main stream PC-like market that was just emerging at the time.

It would be fun to have a Sykes reunion some day for some of that are still around.

I'm a colorblind filmmaker, as well. Post-production is difficult for me because I'm constantly told about red and green hues in skin tone that I just can't pick up on. It's so incredibly frustrating, and nearly impossible to "compensate" with certain hues due to the sheer complexity of color.

Thank you for your post. I'm going to save it and share it with friends and colleagues who do not understand my dilemma.

Recently, I found a site I have not heard of: www.clickpixx.com. They are fairly new, but they had a special on books, so I gathered my images and put one together. The website was nice, and the ordering system fairly easy to navigate. It does use Java (which I am not particularly fond of), and you have to download it to your computer. But the turnaround was amazing! I sent the book in on Sunday afternoon. I had it in my hands on Thursday. Printed cover and pages that lay flat. They did a very good job on printing and binding. I will use them again.
